Custom software development
Custom development with Consitus Intranet as the platform
We build unique modules, features and extensions in Consitus Intranet. The foundation is always the same, which is exactly why development can move quickly: we build on a platform we know in detail.
- Consitus Intranet
- Unique modules
- Case management
- Time tracking
Scope
We build on our own platform — not on your current software
It's important to be clear from the start: Consitus does not extend customers' existing systems and does not do general software development into arbitrary platforms. Everything we custom-build is built on and for Consitus Intranet.
What we do
- Unique modules in Consitus Intranet
- New features and fields in existing modules
- Portals and dashboards as extensions of the platform
- Automated workflows inside the intranet
What we don't do
- Further development of your existing system
- Software development into other platforms
- Taking over codebases built by others
- Standalone web apps without Consitus Intranet as the foundation
What we build
Typical modules and extensions
Everything below is built in Consitus Intranet, where users, roles, customers, documents and time already work together. Scope is agreed based on what delivers value first.
Unique modules in Consitus Intranet
If a workflow is unique to your business, we build it as a module on the platform — with your fields, steps and rules.
Customer portal as an extension
A portal module where customers and partners see selected data from the intranet — and nothing else.
Ticket and repair management
Cases with status, ownership and full history, linked to the intranet's customers, documents and time tracking.
Time tracking and activities
Recording close to the work, tied to customers and cases in the platform rather than a standalone spreadsheet.
Dashboards and overview
Key figures and status pulled from the intranet's own data, so decisions don't depend on manual exports.
New features in existing modules
Missing a field, a flow or a report in a module you already use? We extend the module.
How we work
Short iterations and clear choices
You speak directly with the people building it. We'll tell you if a simpler solution is the right one, and we keep the distance between idea and a module in production as short as possible.
- Clarifying the workflow and goal before coding
- The module is built on the platform's roles and data
- Small deliveries you can react to
- Ongoing adjustment based on actual use
How we work
Why development moves faster than in a classic project
We build closely with you on a platform we know: Consitus Intranet. We don't write a long specification up front, but build the module in short cycles where you can see and try it along the way. The foundation is already in place, so time goes into what's unique to you.
- Decisions are made on something you can see and try
- The same foundation every time gives predictable quality
- Shorter path from request to module in production
- Same requirements for data, roles and security as the rest of the platform
If you don't know the platform yet, start with Consitus Intranet. It's the foundation every module is built on.
FAQ
Questions about custom development
- What does it mean that custom development happens on Consitus Intranet?
- It means Consitus Intranet is always the platform. We don't build a standalone system from scratch and we don't take over your existing software. We develop unique modules, features and extensions inside Consitus Intranet, where users, roles, customers, documents and time already work together.
- Can you build on the system we use today?
- No. We do not extend customers' existing systems and we don't do general software development into arbitrary platforms. If a workflow currently lives in another system, we build it as a module in Consitus Intranet — not as an addition to the old system.
- What can a unique module include?
- Anything from ticket and repair management, time tracking and approval flows to dashboards, customer portals and fields specific to your industry. The module uses the intranet's users, permissions and data, so it doesn't become an island next to everything else.
- Why only one platform?
- Because we know the foundation in detail. Roles, access, data model and operations are the same every time, which means development goes faster, quality is more predictable, and we can take responsibility for the whole solution rather than for an add-on to something someone else has built.
